(LOC: W-1A) REV23
In the original configuration, hot exhaust gas is extracted from both the exhaust stacks and is then ducted down both sides of the intake lip to create heat while exiting out the bottom of the cowling. The excess exhaust leaves soot & debris on the underbelly of each engine nacelle creating excess care & maintenance.
The new Raisbeck design extracts the hot gas from the right side only and ducts down and through to the left side and exits out the left exhaust stack. This results in no exhaust soot building on the underbelly of each engine nacelle reducing maintenance and keeping your aircraft clean of debris.
