In the original configuration, all oil from the garlock seals on the back of the engine are drained directly overboard by way of  gang drain at the bottom of the cowling. Thus, oil is covering the bottom of the nacelle landing gear and brakes.

The Raisbeck Oil Residue Collection System will install a tank at the present location of the gang drain by the oil cooler. The tank can then be drained in a timely manner to keep oil off the nacelle, Landing gear, brakes, and airframe.
